description Our client, a global leading Storage company, is currently looking to employ a Support Engineer to work from their Slough offices with international traveling.
You provide guidance to and oversee System Engineers and Support Engineers to ensure most effective resolution plans are being implemented.You provide customer orientation of products during initial product installation. Conduct training on an informal or formal basis to Service, Sales, Product Marketing, customers or team members. You demonstrate exemplary technical skills to troubleshoot complex issues on all library products. Utilize appropriate tools and procedures to successfully replace and/or upgrade library components.
You are degree educated and have 6 years relevant experience. Strong knowledge of network systems technology, fibre channel technology.
Excellent knowledge of OS required ( Windows/Unix/Novell ) as well as back up applications software. Certification of Unix, Novell or Windows 2K/NT is a plus.
Additional language in either Italian or Spanish is a plus.
