More recently they have moved towards designing and producing customised products for original equipment manufacturers world-wide. This role involves a variety of activities including the development of the design capability for use in production of equipment used in the power electronics industry i.e. for the laser industry and to continuously review product performance and feedback from customers to develop any necessary improvements to products in a safe and quality conscious environment. The successful incumbent will work in a small team under their own initiative and be able to prioritise tasks, multi-task and manage customer expectations from order to conclusion.
