description Our client is a leading supplier of positive displacement pumps and pumping systems. Due to the continued growth of the company, and as part of their long-term expansion plans, there is an opportunity as a System Design Engineer.
Our client is searching for an office based CAD designer to design chemical dosing systems, site layouts and installation drawings using 3D CAD package Solidworks. Your main responsibility will be the designing of piping systems and liaising with customers to ensure that their design requirements are being met. Regular contact with the customers is required and occasional site visits will be necessary to fulfil your tasks.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated and come from a piping / system design background. You must be familiar with Windows based programmes, have good communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. You should possess a minimum of HNC in Engineering and background in design preferably in piping systems. Further benefits include 20 Days Holiday and profit related bonus after 1 year’s service.
