description <p>Working for this leading and established consultancy, in partnership with a wide range of clients from design houses to multi-nationals, across numerous market sectors, you will be given complete responsibility for the development cycle of projects and control of your own destiny. <p>The emphasis of their ASIC group is developing low cost and low power electronic products for high volume production. With new and innovative products already released they want to further strengthen and expand this part of the business. <p>To fuel this growth they have an immediate requirement for a Digital Video ASIC Designer. <p>Description: <li>A team working on state of the art camera on a chip technology is seeking an experienced digital designer experienced in video ASIC development to provide high value solutions. The qualified candidate will develop efficient power aware digital circuits based upon image processing algorithms developed for client camera needs. These digital circuits will be designed for emulation in real time on an FPGA platform. Targeting these proven designs for ASIC and digital core form will provide low power CMOS camera on a chip products. <p>Responsibilities: <li>Assist in video processing algorithm development for efficient coding. <li>Digital logic design and simulation for real time pipelined imager control and video processing circuits <li>RTL to GDSII synthesis. <li>Work with FPGA engineers and test personnel in evaluating the emulated design with real time video.
