The company specialises in producing rugged hand held instruments for the water industry of which most are battery powered and microprocessor controlled. They currently are seeking a good Hardware Design Engineer to take responsibility for the design and development of these instruments.
Required are excellent analogue design skills (e.G. Op-Amp circuits, filters, working with low noise floors and low power radio) as well as digital design experience (ARM architecture an advantage). If you come from instrumentation and/or a low-power background then this will play in your favour. This role will suit someone who enjoys taking the responsibility for the hardware development of a product from inception through to production.
