description Our client operates an oil refinery on Teesside which is complemented by a sales / marketing / distribution network making us, amongst other things, the dominant supplier of bio-diesel in the UK. We are looking for a new IT Manager. Does the following describe you:- • Understands hardware structure and can manage a life plan to keep systems up to date? • Can handle in-source / outsource decisions so that cost effective support is delivered to all company IT users? • Able to operate with IT managers from other regions and present persuasive arguments on behalf of the UK? • Able to communicate well at all levels in a modern organisation? • Able to delegate effectively to get the best out of your own staff? • Has at least 5 years of relevant experience? • Has specialism in several software systems and applications, particularly SQL? If you can do these basic things then you have earned the right to submit an application to us! However, we are really looking for an individual who can cover the basics to an excellent standard but then go on to unleash the full power of IT on the way in which Petroplus does business.
