The first role involves a large amount of customer contact, and could be described as an applications engineering position. "Designing in" chips into customers' designs, the successful candidate will have strong RF systems / board level design experience, and will ideally have knowledge of power amplifiers, understand the issues relating to linear versus non-linear amplifiers, etc. This role will involve a large amount of European travel. <p>The second role is for more of a "product specialist" with knowledge of cellular or bluetooth mobile handsets. With some customer contact, the primary thrust of this role is to define new RF products in conjunction with clients and the design team.
