location Berkshire description This role is for a versatile software/firmware engineer to join a team responsible for working directly with HW, SW, Firmware/Diagnostics development engineers to plan & execute the bringup, verification, debug and support of hardware & software components related to new server platforms. - Work within platform engineering teams to lead, scope, plan, setup, execute bringup / verification / debug / support activities associated new Volume Server platform programs.

To be considered for the role of Contact Engineer, you will be commercially aware, self-motivated, and assertive. You will also be resourceful and innovative when approaching problems and posses excellent communication skills. You will be qualified to HNC/HND level in a related engineering discipline and be computer literate and possess good team working skills.
Previous experience of a similar role within a switchgear or related field, together with a sound knowledge of general engineering principles in a manufacturing environment is preferable.
