They seek a Project Leader to work as part of a project / engineering team servicing customers throughout Europe.
The Role:
To have ownership, responsibility and management of projects from initial concept through the design and development process into volume manufacture meeting cost, quality, performance and timing objectives throughout. Regular and close liaison with customers, suppliers and group manufacturing facilities will be key elements of the roles.
Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day management of a project Design Team including design guidance, project co-ordination, team management and documentation control.
- Resolution of all technical issues within the Design Team and the support of and close out of technical issues within all customer departments.
- Implementation of Quality Procedures, documentation and internal processes.
The candidate:
- A good level of relevant technical training – ideally degree educated.
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle electrical distribution systems, ideally in the passenger car or light commercial vehicles.
- Experienced in customer facing, project orientated posts and possess well-developed project co-ordination skills.
- Familiarity with FMEA and VAVE, TVM techniques will be a great advantage.
- Excellent and experienced communicator, team leader and project manager
- PC literate
- Experience of Ford Systems: WERS, DVPandR, 8D processes
- Full clean driving license and ability to travel across Europe at short notice.
