Job Purpose:
Operational responsibility to supervise the performance of claims staff within designated Teams. Reporting to Team Manger in all matters pertinent to Team performance measured against key indicators including work process. skills Principal Accountabilities:
1. Ensure client service standards, protocols and guidelines are met providing advice and assistance to the client
2. Support the Technical Adjuster in the implementation of Team training plans. 4. Obtain a full understanding of Teams capabilities and capacity in order to contribute effectively to the management of the Team and personal workload. Contribute to systems development ensuring a comprehensive knowledge of systems applications.
5. Ensure staff adhere rigidly to Claims Handling Practices as defined by claims and quality manuals reviewing working practices as a matter of course. Participate in internal audit and review procedures as part of personal workload.
6. Maintain quality management information on personal performance including preparation of periodical statistics, full use of ICMS reporting facilities and diary action functions to assess current workload position.
7. Develop a full understanding of the commitment to IIP and ISO 9000/2000 standards recommending where appropriate improvements to work processes.
8. Assist the Team Manager and other Senior Managers in achieving individual client instigated projects. Contribute to research and complex statistical reports, developing analytical skills as and where appropriate.
