Based at our new Greenford office but reporting to our Head of Sales and Marketing in Hemel Hempstead, you will be responsible for securing new hire business from venues in the central London “0207” area, and some outer London 0208 areas, and for establishing “cross hire” arrangements with other AV Suppliers. • Identify target venues (in excess of 1,000 in the area!), establish contacts and make appointments to meet relevant personnel
• Discuss equipment supply requirements, costs and incentives with prospective venues and secure new contracts for the supply of our AV equipment and services
• Work with our Technical Director and Hire team to establish service levels
• Identify and approach other AV companies for cross-hire sales opportunities
• Identify cross-selling opportunities of other group brands’ services
• Secure / Increase business levels from existing and previous customers (including the likes of The Café Royal and the Chancery Court Hotel)
YOU
You have a good level of experience in a B2B sales role, probably selling services and ideally, though not essentially, experience of working with / selling to Hotels and other venues. Above all else, you must be an exceptional communicator with a confident but likeable style. Ultimately target oriented, you must be able to work on your own initiative with a minimum of guidance / supervision as you will be the sole sales representative in the London office; you will receive marketing and management support (Head of Sales, Technical Director) from Head Office in Hemel Hempstead.
