- Web Developer – ASP / ASP.Net
- posted on 19/05/2004
location Hertfordshire United Kingdom, Hertfordshire description We are a Hertfordshire-based Website Development Company, offering a relaxed working environment (no suits!) and civilised working hours of 10:30am to 6:30pm. We offer a varied and challenging programming role using technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, C# and .Net to develop interesting and interactive Websites for a variety of clients. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, so we are looking for a like-minded individual that is capable of working hard, whether under their own steam or as part of a team. A solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript and SQL is required. We hand-code all of our sites using Macromedia HomeSite, most of which utilise ASP coded in JavaScript (as opposed to VB Script) with back-end SQL Server databases. Therefore DreamWeaver users and VB coders need not apply!! We are now pushing the limits that standard ASP can offer, so we are looking to towards the ASP.Net solution, coded in C# for some current and all future projects. Exposure to the Microsoft .Net platform, especially ASP.Net and C# is therefore also a requirement. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and highly adaptable, with good client-facing skills together with general all-round abilities and organisational skills. Although graphic design abilities are not strictly necessary they would be an asset, as would experience with programs such as Adobe PhotoShop and Macromedia Fireworks. A good sense of humour and an appreciation of a good Curry wouldn’t go amiss either. If you are interested in this position then simply apply via the button shown. skills Web Developer – ASP / ASP.Net
