The skills and knowledge of the design manager should include:

The immediate task is to fully define the process and plant to a level of detail that enables the end user to approve the design and produce a high accuracy cost estimate and implementation programme.
Two design managers are required and one is already in place in the project team. The current workload necessitates the appointment of a second design professional to work on site for a minimum period of 3 months to complete the project definition phase but may be extended beyond this period.

description My client has a global presence in the Oil and Gas industry. An opening has appeared for a skilled Field Service Engineer, based in Aberdeen. The role involves installation, commissioning, trouble shooting and servicing my clients drilling equipment products. These products range from equipment such as Top Drives, Roughnecks, Pipehandling and Motion Compensation equipment. The successful candidate requires a practical working knowledge of PLC systems (preferably Siemens S5/S7 and Mitsubishi), coupled with a good knowledge of instrumentation and AC and DC electrical systems.
