They are a world leader in the development of power management, audio and more recently imaging semiconductor technology. Due to their continued success within the wireless and automotive field they are investing in new development areas, namely Imaging technology. With new and innovative products already released they want to further strengthen and expand this part of the business. To fuel this growth they have an immediate requirement for a Camera Board/ FPGA Designer. Description: <li>The successful candidate will incorporate advanced image sensors with image processing HW circuits to develop leading edge CMOS camera products for automotive, portable, and consumer markets. Utilizing previous experience in camera PCBs and FPGA based application development this designer will provide low-power cameras with on board image processing and standard digital video outputs. Responsibilities: <li>Develop prototype camera circuits and PCB designs on schedule and compliant with technical specifications. <li>Provide low noise video performance with known and innovative board level design. <li>Work with Mechanical design team to provide innovative electro optic solutions meeting packaging space and environmental constraints. <li>Develop robust FPGA designs for prototype, test and product developments utilizing standard digital video interfacing. <li>Execute on multiple concurrent designs and test structure developments. Skills required: <li>Candidates will ideally have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a product development group performing detailed board level PCB design. <li>Quartus, OrCAD, Synplicity ISE, Pads, Allegro. <li>Verilog/VHDL, functional simulation and static timing analysis. <li>Knowledge of current low-noise PCB development and rapid prototyping methods and current digital video and data standards. <li>BSEE required (Advanced degree preferred). <li>Demonstrated innovation in leading edge vision systems and IP generation. <li>Good verbal and written English is required. Having assembled a highly experienced design team in the area of analog mixed-signal design & RF IC design, they are keen to recruit another addition to the team. You will have a proven track record in RF IC design environment, with your experience encompassing all aspects of a typical RF IC development life cycle from initial specifications through to device characterisation and final production. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding in RF, and therefore will have experience in the design, layout and test of basic circuit blocks such as Amplifier design, Mixer Design, Power Amplifiers, Opamps, Comparators, up/down convertors, PLLS, Voltage & current references. An understanding of RF Systems for mobile communications systems esp. WLANS would be beneficial. Experience in Cadence Analog Artist design environment: SpectreRF ,Virtuoso, Dracula DRC and LVS desirable but not essential.
