description The Ceuta Healthcare Group of Companies is the UKs leading independent health and beauty company, specialising in sales of over-the-counter products to independent pharmacies. We work in partnership with some of the worlds largest companies within pharmacy and represent brands with a combined annual value in excess of £200m. We currently employ around 70 full-time, permanent sales representatives in our 7 sales divisions and a forthcoming restructure will mean that we will require 4 additional sales representatives (Pharmacy Business Managers - PBMs) in the London area from late June. One vacancy is available immediately for North / East London. Working 8 weekly journey cycles, our PBMs call upon 7 to 8 independent pharmacies per day, selling a range of household-name products. Sales presentations are made using laptop computers and orders are entered onto them immediately after each call. Orders are downloaded every evening for forward transmission to pharmacy wholesalers who deliver the order the following day. PBMs are also expected to give educational advice to pharmacy counter assistants, place merchandising materials in store and to carry out specific product audits. Candidates for these PBM roles must have recent face to face sales experience, be target driven and have excellent communication skills. Basic IT skills are important but specific training will be given by our system providers on a 3 day course. Additional sales training will be provided by our award-winning training department during our induction process. We are also prepared to take on trainees in some of these roles and such candidates will need to have some basic selling skills, such as from a retail environment. Trainees will receive much greater in-depth training, concentrating on selling skills and this may be an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to break into field sales and, in particular, a multi billion growing market sector.
