This is a hands-on technical position that will involve installations, trials, trouble shooting and customer relations Responsibilities - Provision of third level support - Troubleshooting and analysis of customer problems (telephone, email or on-site). Responsibilities The Test Engineer helps in specifying and managing all of the test materials for each project, and helps in developing the software tools needed to provide comprehensive testing of the products. • Preparation and set-up of the test platforms, and undertaking of the initial installation of the base data within the software. Ensuring that all system information is available prior to system test. This role will require you to be involved in the installation, commissioning, support, service and repair of their installed equipment base in the area to the north-west of London (outside the M25).
You should have an HNC or equivalent and 2 or more years experience in a similar role relating to high technology mechanical or electronic equipment. Excellent customer-facing skills are a pre-requisite.
