description My client has a history of producing top quality licensed titles. Expansion is now on their agenda and as part of this they require a modeller/texture artist. You will be responsible for creating 3D models and creating/applying textures using 3D Studio Max or Maya as required. You will need an in depth knowledge of 3D Studio Max or Maya, experience of low-poly modelling and strong Photoshop and 2D skills. The success of this title is now fuelling rapid expansion and one vacancy they are looking to fill is for a vehicle artist. You should be an experienced car modeller with an ability to work well under low poly restrictions. description This highly successful company was founded eight years ago, and has been seeing a steady increase in staff size ever since. Their first product was a famous artistic success. They are currently developing a similar program utilising a sound to light interface. Other projects presently being finished include a multi-format game for current and future games consoles that will include cutting-edge technology, innovative character AI, and exquisite 3D environments.
Candidates must have Max experience (version 4), and at least one previous published game. Previous experience of working on a console is preferable. Candidates must have good communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
