The client is blue chip and site currently takes over £6M (yup, that's 6 million!) a month via credit card transactions, and generates a further £4M+ in orders via the clients call centre. This is not small potatoes!
Over the next 12 months, the whole site will be undergoing a major rewrite, but in that time, we still need to keep it running. That's where you come in!
You will have at least a year's experience of building and maintaining sizable websites.
Your skills will include good HTML, and Photoshop/Fireworks skills, Intermediate JavaScript, and you will be comfortable with CSS, DHTML and preferably au fait with Dreamweaver (although solid hand coding ability is also essential)
Looking forwards, you will have the opportunity to get your hands on ASP and XML web app design and build (moving to .NET over the year) and the chance to get involved in other projects, both web and non-web applications.
You should be self-motivated and capable of liasing with the client directly on day-to-day issues.
