Contract Test/Intergration Engineer, (SMS, telecoms, Test), Hertfordshire, Immediate, Up to £350 a day Description: To provide support on Integration, Verification and Acceptance activities for Value Added Systems, Services and Solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Execution of Test and Integration activities (from design stage to first site implementation) of Value Added Systems, Services and Solutions to agreed schedules and in accordance with procedures and standards. 2. Compiling and agreeing detailed test plans and test scripts with other departments and third party suppliers. 3. Co-ordination of test activities 4. Creation and management of testing project plan. Essential Skills: 1. Degree in Telecommunications or equivalent. 2. Good technical knowledge of telecomm platforms, preferably C7 / SMS nodes and telecomm grade UNIX platforms. 3. At least 4 years experience of Integration and Acceptance Testing of Telecommunications services and equipment. 4. Mobile telecoms good working knowledge of Data Networks, INAP, Oracle. Desirable Skills: 1. Knowledge of GSM, GPRS Network architectures. 2. Knowledge of Telecommunications industry. 3. Experience of Operation & Maintenance.
