FIELD TELECOM ENGINEER – PANASONIC and AVAYA
Our client currently holds around 600 maintenance contracts and is looking to expand the technical team to enhance the service we provide.
We are looking for a high level of experience in both the Panasonic and Avaya systems,
from the Kxt to the KxtdA Kxtvp, IP Office / Index. Other key areas of experience
would need to be a good understanding of networking, TCP IP, LAN and WAN routing
and VoiP. The successful applicant would also need to have a good working knowledge
of Microsoft operating systems. The successful applicant would benefit from a having a strong engineering background and a full clean UK driving licence.
They are a fast paced communication company looking for an enthusiastic experienced field engineer to further compliment our current team. They pride themselves on having an excellent engineering team and as an ISO registered company quality is key.
Duties to include:
Installation and commissioning of Telephone systems:
• Site Surveys
• Pre install meetings / Pre sales support (Bespoke Dems)
• Cabling, Cat5 and 1308
• Basic installations of the simple Kxt to small enterprise IP based solutions
• Maintenance visits for our existing client base
• On site adds moves and changes
• On-call engineer rota
• 24/7 maintenance support (rota basis)

This position is primarily a field based role and as such you will be expected to travel
to the required locations to complete your work. If overnight stays or late nights are
required they will have been agreed in advance.
