POSITION
The position is for new business sales to target the SME and corporate market selling the company’s portfolio of products and services with an emphasis on VoIP related products. Generating business from new and existing prospects either by telephone canvassing or leads generated by the company. The company aims to provide a minimum of 5 leads/appointments per week.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in sales and demonstrate knowledge of Telecommunications and the latest technology employed in the industry.
Experience in selling business to business is essential. An ability to identify sales opportunities and propose stable business solutions for the customer is needed. Strong organisational skills are a must in this challenging role. An ability to work under pressure using their initiative and making a real contribution to the business is paramount.
The candidate should have at least 3 years experience in the telecommunications industry and sold business to business. You must be conversant with emerging technologies such as Voice over IP, CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), Voice/Data integration and Voicemail/Unified Messaging. You should have good communication and presentation skills along with PC skills. A car driver with clean license.
PACKAGE
A basic salary up to GBP25K will be paid subject to past performance and experience in the industry. Anticipated OTE is in excess of GBP70K. Four weeks annual holiday. Additional days leave accrued each year to a maximum of 5 days. Normal company and travel expenses and pension scheme after 1 year of employment. Working hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm (Monday to Friday), with 1 hour for lunch. A laptop and mobile telephone will be provided together with normal travel expenses.
