Our client, a successful mobile phone manufacturer, requires an experienced Senior Validation Engineer to lead the development of validation test procedures and methods for testing current and future products. The ideal candidate will be confident in reading and interpreting ETSI, ANSI, 3GPP and other standards, and may well have worked on standardisation committees, proposing and developing test methodologies through to implementation and in analysing protocol logs and test results. Our client is looking for an organised and self motivated individual with at least 5 years experience as a design engineer (systems or software) or in test automation of communication products including GSM handsets or base stations. Sound knowledge of standards for GSM/EDGE/WCDMA/USB and a good academic background (honours degree or equivalent professional Engineering Qualification) is a must.
