Our client, a successful mobile phone manufacturer, requires an experienced Senior Protocol Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability for the GSM/GPRS protocol stacks (L2/L3) for all products. You will be responsible for the integration and deliveries of protocol stack modules, including integration of new release from the company's protocol stack provider. The coordination with software/hardware teams and third party suppliers to ensure that the protocol stack fulfils requirements for the various features implemented in the company's products will be another key responsibility of the role. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Computer Science and has gained significant experience in several areas of GSM/GPRS protocol stack (L2/L3), ideally in integration. Sound knowledge of GSM test tools (CRTC, Anite SAT/SAS) and real-time debugging on target (TI CodeComposer) is a must.
