I am currently working with a leading provider of installation, development and support services for telecoms infrastructures for the broadcast, transport and civil sectors.
They are looking to recruit a Project Manager - Communication Networks for their transport division.
The initial projects are delivering site based services, managing the installation and testing of customer communication networks. Main responsibilities of the Project Manager - Communication Networks will be:
- managing teams of site based survey and installation engineers, project administration staff and contractors
- ensuring maintenance, distribution and adherence to the project plan
- overseeing all project deliverables and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- managing project risk control and progress reporting
The ideal candidate for the Project Manager - Communication Networks position will have
- several years experience in project management in telecoms and/or rail
- experience of managing field based teams
- understanding of formal project management techniques
- financial and commercial acumen
- costing, quote and bid experience
- very good PC skills, including MS Office.
