A major mobile operator requires an Excalibur Test Analyst to work on a contract basis. The role will involve: -Carrying out all acceptance-testing activities, from the design stage to implementation, for allocated software deliveries of the Excalibur Customer Care and Billing application. -Preparing detailed test plans, liaise with the users and business analysts to ensure that user acceptance criteria are documented and agreed. -Liaise with the software developers and support personnel, to ensure efficient implementation of the software in the test environment. -Contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Excalibur Acceptance Test Team, being active in suggesting improvements in the process. The ideal candidate will have at least two year ’s experience in a formal acceptance testing environment, using Unix. Experience of a Customer Care and Billing application and a sound knowledge of SQL and an understanding of Oracle databases is essential.
