To aid in the expansion & optimisation of the network through running the allocated development programmes Growth, Integration, Switch & Transmission within sub Regions. This specifically includes the planning/co-ordination of projects & equipment supplied internally or by Contractor. In order to meet the aggressive role out plan for new BTS site integration & network growth,
Key responsibilities:
Ensure that the allocated programme runs smoothly, efficiently & within laid down time constraints.
Maintain accurate records for projects in each discipline, monitor & report on contractor deliverables, prioritise work to enable tight schedules to be achieved.
Produce detailed reports on project activities, to interpret the efficiency of the project components & react accordingly to maintain network development.
Assist, in whichever way necessary, the Projects Manager in the smooth running of all regional projects.
Actively participate in, & encourage team working in the department, & assist other Technical Projects Team members, when necessary, in achieving challenging company targets.
Promote an excellent Health & Safety culture
Desirable
Knowledge of UMTS, GSM, Microwave radio transmission or network infrastructure.
3 yrs working in a telecommunications or network planning/management environment.
A BTEC 0NC/D or HNC/D or equivalent in a Telecommunications/Electronics related subject.
