I am recruiting for one of the largest eastern telecommunications companies looking to make an impact in the UK with very competitive products and pricing. They turned over £34 Billion in 2004 (Contract Sales) and they are looking for a technically strong, client facing Presales Technician.
You will take up the role of technical specialist providing product support & consulting for the sales team and customers with generally project based requirements in the telecommunications. For specific clients the Technical Presales Manager will transfer customers' requirements into a technical plan based on the products & services portfolio, or a Business Consultant translating the customer requirement into technical improvement proposal for product R&D division.
Strong Experience in one of the following areas is needed.
- Mobile Network Solution design experience - GSM & GPRS
- Experience with Multi Service Access Networks
- Fixed line telecommunications
- Mobile Value Added Services (VAS)
Additional Experience:
- 5 yrs plus experience in solution design for data & IP solution provider
- Consulting skills in sales & successful consultant experience documented by customer projects
- Excellent customer communication experience & presentation skills
- Good technical understanding of networking equipment & technologies (multiplexers,
switches, routers, etc)
