Our client, a major mobile operator, requires an Infrastructure Architect to design, develop and deploy the IT Architecture (infrastructure) for key projects within the company Technology directorate. Design Authority for the Infrastructure Architecture of all new services and leading the Infrastructure Design team are the key responsibilities of this role. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years IT experience in a design/architecture role and demonstrable IP Networking expertise (CCIE or equivalent) as well as a good knowledge of IT security (CCSA/CCSE or equivalents). Experience in the development and maintenance of Large Scale IT functions, primarily in an Architecture or Strategy role is essential. A good understanding of mobile data services and of GSM network architecture is highly desirable.
