Our client, a major mobile operator, requires a J2EE specialist to create leading mobile Internet and data services products within the mobile telecommunications industry. The purpose of the role will be to produce system and functional specifications that define both the requirements and describe the design. You will be required to assist the development of the system architecture, understanding its function and purpose. With the ability to determine the technical feasibility of proposed change. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in architecture and design of Internet applications, with 5 years experience of deploying large scale Internet sites using J2EE/XML/XSLT. Mobile handset knowledge including WML/WAP/XHTML/J2ME and Symbian is also required. A formal modelling knowledge, preferably UML is highly desirable.
