My client currently have a vacancy for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to be based in Newport.

They are currently on a joint venture with Network Rail; they work on all track renewals in the South Wales. The contract is worth £50m until 2009.

The successful candidate will join an existing team of 14 commercial staff, and work with a commercial team who are responsible for the costing, cost controlling and risc management of all works.
