My client are the surfacing and civil engineering arm of a large multi national company with a turnover approaching £900m per annum. They are mainly involved with the laying and maintenance of roads and related infrastructure and have secured a string of long term maintenance contracts for the Highways Agency involving in excess of 2,700 miles (some 40%) of England's motorways and all-purpose trunk roads.
