Today, our client provides the leading pure-play Business Process Management Suite TaskCentre® enabling organisations to drive efficiency and save time, reduce costs, generate revenue, optimise relationships and improve visibility and agility through collaborative process automation. Their success has led to new requirements.
The wide ranging role they have is for an engineer with a strong development background to develop software solutions that increase the integration between their flagship product TaskCentre and the software packages produced by their industry partners. This involves developing custom ‘Tasks' and ‘Tools' for their TaskCentre environment.
- A Task is composed of an integration of steps which allow the retrieval, processing and distribution of information from literally any source in a business.
- A tool is a connector which allows TaskCentre to perform one of these actions.
Needless to say a good background in many technologies such as:
SQL, ODBC, COM, SQL Server, Oracle, Crystal Reports, SMTP, HTML, VB script and more will be required.
Tool development requires programming in VB.Net, C# and possibly C++ using literally any associated technology.
Customer interaction for determining requirements and occasional support will also be required.
