Our Client has an immediate requirement for a talented software developer wishing to work on their exciting product range primarily with C# under the .NET framework in combination with both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Their products comprise Enterprise Mapping solutions and web-based GIS.
The role involves participation in the full development life cycle for new projects, including design, coding and testing and includes the support and enhancement of existing products. Furthermore, you will be encouraged to take the initiative and make real improvements to their products, procedures and overall performance. You will be working within a small but highly talented development team where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the software we deliver to our prestigious clients.
The successful applicant will be familiar with accepted software development methodologies, having at least two years' experience in:
- requirements gathering;
- problem solving; and
- object-oriented design and coding
Specific technologies sought are C# (Windows Forms, ASP.NET), Oracle and SQL Server and desirable skills include MapInfo, Delphi, XHTML and XSLT.
