Successful Games Technology Studio based in Surrey is looking for a Senior Programmer experienced in C++ and 3D Graphics APIs (DirectX/OpenGL) who is looking for a very high profile, customer focused role working with some of the most talented technologists in the games industry. Specific experience of working with middleware products and content creation tools will be very much of interest and an excellent communication ability combined with solid know-how in the graphics and 3D arena would be key. The main responsibility is to empower programmers, designers and artists with the technology to implement cutting edge features such as graphics engines, game content and gameplay systems, effects and physics. You will need at least 3 years relevant experience plus good maths and C++ skills - plus familiarity with game console platforms (PS2/Xbox). You will also have excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure whilst handling multiple tasks. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are key and you will have a passion for working with others to get the most out of technology. This role attracts an excellent blue-chip package.
