A very experienced Graphics Engine Programmer is required by one of the UK's biggest Games Studios based in Surrey. To take on this lead role, you will need to have strong OO design skills and be an expert in DirectX, preferably having worked on a project previously where you have developed terrain systems or worked on a simulation-type graphics engine. Main skills include fluency with C++ and excellent maths, combined with a polished academic record and a career of at least around 5 years in a graphics orientated role. Your abilities to lead a team are also of interest but this is primarily a senior technology role so this is not vital, though mentoring and coaching of more junior staff will be expected. This is an excellent role for an experienced graphics professional who is looking for a high profile and profitable project to demonstrate their high calibre skills and very good package is available to the right candidate.
