This major player in the Video Games Technology sector is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to drive forward the development of very high profile games technology applications and game content tools. The ideal candidate will have strong OO design skills including usage of UML and will have in-depth knowledge of .Net Framework application programming with strong knowledge of the Winforms API and ADO.net. Excellent knowledge of C++ (including STL and COM) will be beneficial and any exposure to C#, Database development, 3D applications (such as Max, Maya, CAD/CAM etc) would also be advantageous. You will be expected to work as part of a team where you will be able to communicate your knowledge to other less experienced members. You will also be expected to be able to organise yourself when working alone on projects, delivering high quality code in a timely manner. Knowledge of 3D packages or games industry experience is helpful but not required. An excellent blue chip package is also on offer including Pension, Share Options and a full Healthcare plan.
