This is a single contributor role, where the job holder will be an IT professional and required to provide software expertise for project and support activity relating to their infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
The role holder will be responsible for developing, delivering and supporting database and software applications for designated, special IT projects. You will also be required to provide expert support to the company's Operational functions for production of analytics and reports for any of their clients.
Education and Experience:
-BS degree in S/W Engineering or equivalent is desirable but not essential
-Relevant experience in a software design / development environment, along experience with .NET and database development technologies and software development methodologies.
Knowledge and Skills:
-In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft .NET platform.
-Programming Skills. (ASP.NET, VB.NET and\or C#.NET)
-Good working knowledge of Web based distributed software development
-Knowledge of HTML, XML and Java Script.
-In depth knowledge of SQL server 2000-2005 (T-SQL) and awareness of Oracle
-Knowledge of Reporting Software (MS SQL Reports / Crystal Designer)
-Software development methodologies
-Excellent Analytical, troubleshooting skills and personal organisational skills are essential.
-Excellent Interpersonal and customer facing skills.
-Good Communication and reporting skills (verbal and written).
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Generic IT skills (e.g. Networking, Microsoft etc.)
-Time Management.
Additional Requirements:
Strong customer oriented, oral and written communication skills along with the ability to perform effectively as an individual contributor and also as a team player. Excellent problem solving and organisational skills are essential. Experience would ideally have been gained in Contact Centre environments.
Salary: up to £24,000
