Java developer/e-commerce developer is required by our St Albans, Herts based financial services client to play a key role in the delivery and maintenance of effective e-Commerce systems. To be considered you must have strong Java, J2EE and JSP design and development experience with UML and experience of Application Design Patterns - particularly MVC. This should be combined with Portal Development experience using WebSphere Portal Server, in the WSAD / RAD IDE. Experience of version control software such as MKS and familiarity with automated builds and the use of maven would also be useful. Desirable skills include exposure to Open Source including JBoss, Spring, Castor; JSR 168 portal standards and experience of Eclipse and Eclipse plug ins JSF.
