Web Developer with 3-4 years experience with ASP, HTML, XML AND ASP.NET, with SQL Server is required by our East London (Whitechapel) based Financial Services client. Working within a growing development and support team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Web based products and their website and take a lead role in the development of future offerings and their intranet. To take a leading role in specific Web based development projects allocated to the team. Duties will include database and Front-end Design, Development and Support, Analysis and Prototyping, Systems Design, Development, Testing and Implementation and software support of applications (including bug fixing and troubleshooting). Solid experience of ASP, HTML, XML AND ASP.NET, with SQL Server is required together with demonstrable experience of object oriented techniques, and an understanding of the importance of a proper development cycle. Fully conversant in: ASP, HTML, Flash, SQL, Relational databases, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, any exposure to development platforms such as Visual Studio .NET, SQL Server Enterprise Manager, SQL Query Analyzer, VBA, VB and database integration would be a bonus. Successful candidates must have drive and ambition and the ability to adapt easily, learn rapidly, be team orientated and display professional communication skills.
