Their key aim for our staff is to create a challenging, stimulating and enjoyable working environment. To fulfil this ambition we search for team members who are inventive, dedicated and come with a track record of success. Their staff retention is excellent, which speaks volumes.

Working with, and as an adjunct to, the core development team you will be developing new features and releases to existing websites for a number of our clients. These include e-commerce applications, CMS and interactive websites.

This is a newly created role and we looking for a unusual developer because of the level of client liaison, small project management and multi-tasking skills required for success.
This role includes:
- Development of .NET, C#, XML and web services
- Use of varied technologies, including but not limited to XML, C#, COM, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML and Java Script
- Using these technologies and products to dynamically interact with SQL databases - mainly MS SQL Server 2000
- Management of small projects involving client liaison, understanding a client's business objectives, writing system specifications and quotes
- Ensuring projects and tasks are delivered to specification and on time
- Developing your own portfolio of activity

As a member of our established development team, you will have the opportunity to co-ordinate several website enhancement projects within your first year. You'll help to identify web development opportunities within our client portfolio, approach and establish relationships with key customers, and then work to improve their existing website. In addition you'll learn from and contribute to our in-house code library, and regularly bring new technical ideas to the team.
The successful candidate will hold a computer science or equivalent degree (2:1 and above) and have a strong foundation in programming techniques and theories, including object orientated programming.
You'll have experience of liaising with customers, managing several web development projects simultaneously and be used to working alone when necessary.

What will give you a distinct advantage:
- A minimum of 2-3 years hands-on experience of web application development
- Strong programming experience, specifically at least 2 years developing with .NET, C#, XML and web services
- Experience developing/maintaining large e-commerce and CMS applications
- Previous project management skills or a willingness and aptitude to learn
- An eye for detail and high quality standards
- Client liaison experience
- An ability to spot commercial opportunities for web development

In return you will receive a Competitive salary, Company bonus scheme, Unique additional bonus scheme for this particular role, Share scheme entry, Individual training budget, Home broadband, Discounted private health cover and Discounted gym membership.
