Our client is already recognised as one of the big players in next generation mobile technology, operating a specific research lab developing enterprise Software Development Kits (SDK's) alongside its games studio.
Your role within the research arm of this fantastic organisation will involve the scheduling of their research activities, co-ordination of product managers and overseeing the final commercial delivery of their software.
In direct contact with the games studios technology you will be expected to bring at least 5+ years experience in software management to the team, with a focus on the development of SDK's or Middleware. Being a successful software manager you will also be expected to have an excellent understanding of the software design lifecycle planning and the delivery of commercial software with a natural ability to multitask due to the high pace of the mobile software industry. You will also have experience with risk management, formal project management such as Prince2 or similar package, be a great communicator and have had some experience as a lead or senior software engineer.
