A leading data warehouse lifecycle management software provider requires a software "Guru" who is passionate about the software development process and is now looking to broaden their technology and engineering skills.
The company is award winning, and the current software development team is of an extremely high calibre. Their products are built using high-performance technologies from C++ to XML, Web Services and Java. The software runs on enterprise database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server and DB2.
The successful candidate will have detailed experience of C++, COM/DCOM, XML, XSLT, Web Services, DBMS platforms and optionally Java, JSP. You will need to be more than just a good C++ or Java programmer, we are looking for a gifted engineer who has a strong academic grasp of the software lifecycle. A good first degree in computing/mathematics is a must. The role would ideally suit a bright graduate who has spent some years as a graduate trainee in a major blue chip but now wants to join a young fast moving software house where they can really make a difference.
