Our client is a fast-growing software house specialising in developing Ajax based, Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) for the enterprise content management (ECM) market. The company's head office is in South West London, where the software development team is based. Their flagship Document Management product began shipping to customers in 2004. Sales are growing rapidly and the additional cash flow is being used to expand the product range in response to customer demand.
As a part of its expansion, the company now needs to hire a mid-level software engineer. Successful candidates would have a track record of developing enterprise-grade software products. Technical expertise should include knowledge of current web application development techniques (Ajax, J2EE, .NET, XML Web Services, JavaScript/DHTML), database driven enterprise applications (MS SQL Server and/or MySQL, ADO, ODBC, JDBC) as well as a background in Windows technologies (C++, C#, MFC, D/COM+). We are seeking a team player capable of both green pastures new development and inheriting existing modules for maintenance and ongoing development.
The successful candidate will have both a Computing Science degree and 2 to 4 years' experience working for an ISV. It is important that the candidate recognises that our client is still an early stage company and that he/she is enthusiastic about working in a start up environment.
