Our Client has been established since 1987. They are the UK arm of Xfone Inc, a US public company with revenues of $40m.
Our Client provides a range of telecommunications services in to different UK markets including landline, international calling card, mobile and premium rate services. There is a substantial wholesale business selling network traffic to other carriers.
This is an exciting time to join the business as it embarks on a period of expansion and starts to undertake a series of acquisitions in the UK. They are now looking for a Software Engineer/Programmer/Web developer.
Responsibilities
This is a small team environment (through extensive automation, our client employs only 15 people in the UK) and everyone is expected to be competent and to operate with a level of independence without close supervision.
This position is responsible for the development of company web sites, databases and applications for in-house use.
Experience
Must have 2 Years experience/knowledge of at least 5 of the following:
- VB6
- VB.NET
- SQL (2000 and above)
- Crystal reports
- Asp
- Asp.net
- Java
- Web design tool (e.g. FrontPage)
Location
This position is based at our client's office in North London (Finchley). Preference will be given to candidates that are able to live within 45 minutes travel of the office.
