Our client, one of the UKs leading providers of IT solutions and services to corporate enterprises and the public sector, is currently looking for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to join their team at their High Wycombe head offices. Your role will be to undertake assignments to develop software solutions to customer and product requirements. You will be involved with most aspects of the project life cycle dependent on the nature of the particular project; this will include specification, writing, testing, installation, documentation and support. You will be assigned to development projects dependent on their nature and relevance to your skill set. You will partially or fully own the project depending on its complexities and technical requirements; this will include: writing specifications from information supplied, write, design and test software according to the agreed specification and finally help to install and support software upon completion and sign off. For this role we are looking for someone with 5 years + experience in C++ on Windows operating systems, Microsoft COM, DCOM and NT services. Up to 3 years with of database programming (Oracle, SQL) along with experience of networked environments. Desirable skills include: CTI, ASP, XML/XSL & MMC.
