Perl Developer required by our client based in Milton Keynes, Bucks – close to Bedford, Luton and Aylesbury. To be considered you must have previous Perl development experience ideally with experience of developing Internet applications; UNIX systems programming, Apache, Linux and data interfacing standards and methods. Our client is looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and keen to learn about the industry, the company and its competitors. The position is a key development role and requires an individual with initiative and good problem solving abilities. You should have a flexible, enquiring mind and be prepared to challenge the status quo. You should be able to work within guidelines but without the need for constant supervision. The position would best suit a determined individual who can achieve realistic targets. Above all, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they would be an exceptional rather than average employee and prove this through past successes, achievements and promotions.
