Contract C# / ASP.NET 2.0 Developer with Visual Studio 2005, C#, T-SQL, SQL Server 2000-2005 and Visual Basic 6 skills is required by our Reading, Berkshire based client. Initially offered as a 6month contract this role will see you assisting in the completion of a current VB6 project before playing a key role in helping them migrate to the .NET platform. As such you must be happy developing in classic VB/SQL for the short tem before re-engaging your .NET development skills. To be considered you must have full SDLC development experience including the writing of technical documentation needed in support of development activities. Any experience of writing components for integration with other devices (data feed, blackberry, PDA's, bar code/EPOS readers) would be a bonus. Potential for contract-to-perm if of interest at a later date.
