Administration Assistant - Major Contract Co-ordinator
Surrey, Hampton Wick
£ Salary Negotiable
Our client is a UKAS accredited laboratory offering a calibration, replacement, measurement, servicing and repair facility. Based in Hampton Wick, they currently require an Administration Assistant to control and monitor a major contract the company is about to start.
The position requires a mature outlook and self-motivated admin person, not afraid of getting on with things and making things happen. You will need to be computer literate, with good communication skills. Hours for this will be 8.30 to 5.00 Monday to Friday.
Within the roles, your key duties will include:
- Answering telephone
- Data input on computer
- Booking in customers' orders
- Raising invoices & delivery notes
- Liaising with other departments to ensure customers' orders and deliveries are met
- Packing goods for despatch by couriers
- Arranging sub contractors' purchase orders
Applicants will require the following skills:
- Good telephone manner
- Familiar with office IT i.e. Telephone/Fax, Copier, Microsoft Office
- Computer literate
- Must be able to interact with colleagues and customers alike
- Good general education with basic mathematics and literacy
The position calls for an enthusiastic individual who can work in a busy office environment handling multiple tasks. The person must have a good telephone manner with a bubbly personality.
The company is a long established small business employing 12 people. It is intimate and friendly and keen to welcome new staff members as well as developing a growing social side out of hours.
