First People Solutions urgently require an Estimating Administrator/Assistant for our construction client based in Stepps. The main duties of the position are to ensure that all internal/external correspondence from the estimating department is of a high standard, be responsible for sending out tender enquiries and, ensuring all calculations and inking of bills of quantity are accurate and legible, producing minutes of departmental meetings and other standard documents such as tender reports, ensuring all sub-orders are produced accurately, responsibility for recording sub-contract order data, logging returned orders, dealing with telephone enquiries and chasing up sub-contractor and supplier prices, checking all sub-contractors receive questionnaires, ensuring insurers receive relevant data regarding sub-contractors' orders. You will preferably have previous administration experience within an estimating department or within a surveying company although exceptional candidates from other industries will be considered. Salary £10-14k depending on experience. Closing date 31st October 2003
