Accounts / Sales Admin Assistant - Part Time
Somerset, Yeovil
£12,000 pro rata
Our client is a leading supplier of marine navigation and survey equipment to the commercial marine and shipping industry. They are a young and growing company which places great importance on customer service and care and professionalism. They are looking to recruit an Accounts / Sales Admin Assistant.
The role:
They are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join their team to take over accounts and sales admin support. This is part time position with hours from 9AM - 2PM.
The successful applicant will be expected to be proficient with Sage Line 50 Financial Controller, Word, and Excel
They will have a good telephone manner, be able to build relationships with customers and suppliers and work under pressure in a small team to meet deadlines.

Duties:
Accounts –
* Processing Suppliers invoices
* Raising Invoices
* Credit Control
* Banking of cheques and payments
* Control of petty cash account
* General accounts duties including credit assessment of new customers, maintaining records of customers on sage as necessary, maintaining control of credit card payment accounts
* Monthly reports of financial statements , budget reports, reconciliation of accounts and petty cash
* Quarterly reconciliation of Vat position with accountant and review of accounts/adjustments
Other Duties -
* Minute taking for Production meetings
* Telephone and reception duties , meeting and assisting visitors
* Hotel bookings and flight and travel arrangements for sales team and directors
* Assisting with exhibition planning and arrangements
* Keeping suppliers files up to date – checking suppliers websites and updating relevant info
* Keeping suppliers brochures in stock and checking for new or discontinued products
* General filing – including review and update of current filing system
maintaining customer contact details register
* Maintaining supply of stamps and ensuring post is despatched daily
* Maintaining supply of stationary and company letter heads
* Other general admin support as required
